On August 19, 1999 the medicinal team from Nashville, Tennessee performed a surgeon over Julie Armas who was in her 21st week of pregnancy.
Before she gave birth to the baby, it was diagnosed with spine deformity, thus the doctors decided to surgeon Julie before her term.
The photo was taken during the surgery. The little baby was holding the doctor’s finger during the operation. The baby was born on December 2, 1999.
The baby’s name is Samuel and today he is 16 years old. He uses instruments for his knees and a wheelchair for longer distances. He likes playing basketball and swimming. He can do everything what his friend are doing.
