The nature of hospitals is that unexpected things happen all the time. With so many people from all walks of life, life and death situations, and medicine always changing doctors and nurses have learned to expect the unexpected. But this even shocked them!
So many things scary things happen in hospitals and they are hotbeds for anxiety which should surprise no one because it is people’s health and life on the line. This was a scary situation but for different reasons. It occurred in Tacoma General Hospital in Washington.
The story raises some questions. A visitor to the hospital brought the snake in a cat carrier that was full of other toys. While in the hospital the snake somehow got out and the owner did not realize until they got home. They contacted the hospital that the snake was there.
The hospital was aware that the white ball python was in its facility, but could not really do anything about it until it showed up. And it certainly made an entrance when it was found again a month after it was originally brought to the hospital. Poor guy must of been starving.
The hospital notified the owner that their python had reappeared in the hospital and they came to pick it up and take it home shortly after.
Pythons are not venomous snakes and probably the most dangerous thing a tame one can do to you, is falling on you because they are heavy big snakes. It is nice that no one was hurt including the snake and it was returned to its owner.
